The T-Birds Football Organization is based in Temperance, Michigan and is entering its thirteenth season as a member of the Washington Junior Football League (WJFL), which is the second oldest youth football league in the United States. The T-Birds are one of three teams in Bedford Township -- the other two teams being the Lions and the Hornets -- we are comprised of youths in the southeast section of the township.
If you have any questions about the T-Birds, you can contact
Greg Pisanti at (734) 847-8171.
Congratulations to the 2011 WJFL Junior League Champions - The T-Bird nation could not be prouder of these boys and the incredible season they had! Thanks to all the Cheerleaders, parents, siblings and fans that supported the team all season! Enjoy the off season - you all have earned it!
Great Job T-Birds!!!!
only one night for turn ins this year - please make sure to have football uniforms clean and together - cheer uniforrms MUST be dry cleaned and in the bag when turned in. If you cannot make this time you will have to contact Coach Pisanti and have uniform turned in BEFORE november 15th - late uniforms or uniforms that are not clean will forfiet the equipment deposit. No uniforms will be taken in during the banquet this year.
Will begin promptly @ 6 pm in th Junior High lunch room - due to limited space players and parents only please - no siblings - more information to follow. Dishes to pass will be up on the site as well as handed out at turn-ins. Chicken, drinks and dessert will be provided by the T-Birds
All families are required to volunteer during the season. On the day of equipment hand out, you must sign up for volunteer times. Parents must show for all volunteer duty or you will be responsible to pay for your child's banquet gift ($35.00)
You will not be scheduled to work in the concession stand during your child's game, so you should sign up for one of the other games.
In addition to helping our own organization, the WJFL requires us to provide volunteers to help at Field Day, sell line ads in the Field Day program, and sell tickets to the League Dance.
Each year, the T-Birds spend over $3000 to replace Cheerleader and Football uniforms and equipment. A $20.00 deposit is required for uniforms and equipment. All items must be returned clean and on time in order for your deposit to be refunded.
